Marie Duprey: Press

Clear, strong voice, first-rate musicianship, crafted with care.

A clear, strong, confident voice. The musicianship on all the tracks is first-rate. I particularly enjoyed One Day I Walk, Sleepy-Eyed Boy, and the Wood Thrush's Song. Of the originals I enjoyed Watch the Tide. Crafted with care and originality.

Very nicely done, with a lot of attention paid to natural
sound--something I appreciate. Nice, laid-back picking that sounds like
music between old friends. Good variety of material, too.

Just got the CD here in Iraq last night...dropped it into the computer and cranked the volume up...couple of people came by to ask about the music...not "Turn it down!" rather "Who's that?"

Loved being able to say it was my sister!!!

Downloaded it into my mp3 player and was able to enjoy it during my daily workout...

The music is great...I love the variety...sea shanty, celtic, blues, appalachian bluegrass...This CD leads me to ask only one question...

When can I expect the next one?!
